External Lift, Richmond
The purpose of this project was to provide lift access to apartments within Grade II listed former eighteenth century Norfolk Lodge on Richmond Hill.
Views towards Norfolk Lodge from the river valley landscape below was an important issue for planning and listed building consent.
Through careful siting and detailing the glazed lift preserves the visual gap between Norfolk Lodge and its neighbour to the North and is successfully unnoticeable from distant views.
