This new country house sits on an incredibly beautiful site on the River Test in Hampshire.
The three storey main house contains a formal entrance and reception rooms with bedrooms above. To the north a single storey range of accommodation contains a kitchen and breakfast room.
The main house also includes a deep basement containing an underground swimming pool. Construction of the basement within three metres of the River Test provided a considerable technical challenge.
The house is constructed of load bearing masonry and faced in Bath stone. Windows generally are double glazed timber sliding sashes; on the ground floor the sashes open high enough to allow direct access to the garden.
